Town Sustainability Policy Review
A lengthy discussion was had regarding the Lexington Building Sustainability Policy. It was agreed
that further review and discussion is needed. A date to reconvene will be arranged.
The PBC applauds the efforts to make Lexington's Capital Projects as sustainable as possible. The
Sustainability Policies as correctly drafted, will almost certainly increase both cost and schedules;
which in itself is not a problem, as long as the decision makers understand this. The Sustainability
Policy needs some refinements so it is achievable, particularly as it reflects to renovations.
Motion to adjourn was made and seconded: Meeting adjourned at 9:30pm.
201 BEDFORD STREET • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420
