Hearing tentatively scheduled for June 8, 1989: <br /> Hartwell Avenue, Gutierrez Company, variance to exceed the maximum Floor <br /> Area Ratio permitted for an office building: The Board reviewed and <br /> approved sending a letter, dated May 2, 1989, to the Chairman of the <br /> Board of Appeals recommending that the variance be denied. On the <br /> motion of Mr. Sorensen, seconded by Mrs. Wood, it was voted 4-0 to <br /> recommend the variance be denied, since no hardship as defined in <br /> Chapter 40A, The Zoning Act, Section 10, dealing with soil conditions, <br /> shape or topography has been demonstrated. <br /> ************************* ARTICLES FOR 1989 TOWN MEETING ********************* <br /> 127. Update on Status of Articles before Town Meeting: <br /> Article 43, Institutional Uses: Mrs. Uhrig reported that as of 4: 30 <br /> p.m. today, there was no indication of any reconsideration being <br /> proposed for this article. <br /> Article 45, Hartwell Avenue, CD Rezoning: It was reported that there <br /> has been no new information since last Wednesday when Town Meeting {� <br /> member Iris Wheaton, Precinct 7, planned to propose reconsideration of <br /> the article. <br /> Article 55: Mrs. Klauminzer reported on Margaret Rawls proposal which <br /> supports Selectman Paul Marshall's plan to put forward a substitute <br /> motion for debate, rather than move indefinite postponement of Article <br /> 55. If his substitute motion carries, Mrs. Rawls will move to amend Mr. <br /> Marshall's motion, as outlined in her proposal to require a town-wide <br /> housing plan. The Board agreed they support the proposals and steps <br /> outlined in Selectman Eddison's letter of April 19, 1989; and that Mrs. <br /> Rawls' concerns are adequately addressed by his letter. <br /> On the motion of Mrs. Klauminzer, seconded by Mrs. Wood, it was voted <br /> 3-1-0 (Mr. Sorensen voted against the motion) not to support Mrs. Rawl's <br /> prepared amendments to Mr. Marshall's substitute motion. <br /> ****************************** REPORTS ************************************* <br /> 128. Planning Board, Subcommittees <br /> a. Chamber of Commerce: Selectman Jack Eddison has scheduled a meeting <br /> on Thursday, May 11, 1989, with the Executive Director of the Chamber of <br /> Commerce to discuss the National Park's relationship with Lexington's <br /> Battle Green. Mrs. Uhrig is interested but will be unable to attend. <br /> b. Critique of Town Meeting: There will be a meeting on May 17, 1989 - <br /> 7:30 p.m. - sponsored by the Moderator and the TMMA Executive Committee <br /> to discuss the past Town Meeting.
