Meeting of February 13, 1989 3 <br /> i <br /> evening at 8:00 p.m. to receive a report from their consultants, David <br /> Dixon & Associates, on progress following meetings with various town <br /> boards and committees. <br /> b. Board of Appeals: Mrs. Wood reported on decisions from the hearings <br /> held on February 9, 1989. The Board of Appeals granted the special <br /> permit for a second floor addition at 22 Fair Oaks Drive, and the <br /> special permit for a smaller sign, back from the street for Dana Home, <br /> Inc. They agreed to require a special permit for the greenhouse <br /> addition at Countryside Manor. The application to place fill on the lot <br /> abutting 57 Meriam Street was withdrawn. <br /> c. Affordable Housing: Mrs. Uhrig reported on her meeting with LEXHAB <br /> Chairman Derby, Housing Authority Chairman Spencer and Selectmen <br /> Chairman Mrs. Smith this morning to discuss affordable housing on the <br /> Meagherville site. They will take both position papers, prepared by the <br /> Planning Board, back to their respective boards for discussion. <br /> d. Articles for Town Meeting: The Board agreed it will plan more <br /> preparation and use of visuals in their presentation of zoning articles <br /> to Town Meeting this year. <br /> 47. Planning Director <br /> a. Montessori School: Mr. Bowyer reported he met on February 3, 1989 <br /> with representatives of the school to discuss the long range plans for <br /> the school. They said the DPW has said they can have two accesses to <br /> the property. An extended day for school and an extended child care <br /> with staggered arrivals are being discussed. <br /> b. MAPC Commuter Forum: Mr. Bowyer reported on the panel which he <br /> moderated on February 9, 1989.
