NUMBER: Jim Malloy, Town Manager I.1 S UMMARY: Category:Decision-Making Attached please find four additional requests for use of ARPA funds and the ARPA Spreadsheet that we've been using, updated to show the following requests: • Up grad e s to the C o mmunity C enter Aud io/Vis ual E quip ment- $3 00,000 • Internal Equity Audit- Seeking$50,000 to match a grant the Chief Equity Officer received • Lead/C opp er S ervic e Line Engineering- $329,5 80 • S ign Bylaw Update $75,000 The staff making the requests will present their request and respond to any questions the S elect Board may have. Additionally, please find the results of the Participatory Budgeting voting. Staff is recommending that the Board approved the top 4 projects in the weighted voting category which includes those projects that received the most votes and is weighted based on highest priority of the voters. The total cost of these projects is $505,000. The recommendation includes a request to the S elect Board to increase the ARPA appropriation for this request by$5,000 to cover the overage.
