To any of the Constables of the Town of Lexington in said County, Greeting: In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs, to meet in their respective voting places in said Town, PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL; PRECINCT THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL; PRECINCT FIVE, CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL; PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING; PRECINCT NINE, MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL MONDAY, THE TWELFTH DAY OF JUNE, A.D., 1995 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., then and there to vote Yes or No on the following questions submitted to the voters at large: Ouestion 1: Shall the town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $1,172,152 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of maintaining current levels of service in the public schools and to accommodate an increase in student enrollment for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-five? YES ___ NO Ouestion 2: Shall the town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $29,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of maintaining public open space, including cemeteries, for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-five? YES NO Ouestion 3: Shall the town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $102,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of restoring police presence in the town center, in the detective bureau and in the various town neighborhoods, and for enforcing zoning regulations throughout the town for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-five? YES ___ NO Question 4: Shall the town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $196,848 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of maintaining the current fire services level in all parts of the town for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-five? YES NO ___ The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of said meetings as provided in the By-Laws of the Town. Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said meeting.
