TOWN WARRANT <br /> TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington in said County, Greetings: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify the inhabitants of <br /> the Town of Lexington qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs to meet in their <br /> respective voting places in said Town, <br /> PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL; <br /> PRECINCT THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, <br /> LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL; PRECINCT FIVE, FISKE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SIX, <br /> WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL; <br /> PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING; PRECINCT NINE, MARIA <br /> HASTINGS SCHOOL, <br /> MONDAY, THE TWENTY-SECOND DAY OF MAY, A.D., 2000 <br /> From 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., then and there to vote on the following question submitted to the <br /> voters at large: <br /> Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to assess an additional $3,440,829 in real estate and personal <br /> property taxes for the purposes of the Police Department,Fire Department, School Department,Public <br /> Works Department, Planning Department, Lexpress, Library, Youth Services, Inspectional Services, <br /> and services provided by the Town Clerk's, Selectmen's and Town Manager's Offices for the Fiscal <br /> Year beginning July First,Two Thousand? <br /> Yes <br /> No <br /> And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of said meetings as <br /> provided in the By-Laws of the Town. <br /> Hereof fail not and make return of this warrant with your doings thereon at the time and place of <br /> said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands at Lexington this 24th day of April, 2000. <br /> Jeanne K.
