<br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said
<br /> County, Greeting:
<br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are
<br /> directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington,
<br /> qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet in
<br /> the Cary Memorial Building, in said Lexington, on Monday, the
<br /> twenty-fifth day of April, 1938, at 8:00 P. M. , then and there
<br /> to act on the following articles:
<br /> sA Article 1. To receive the reports of any Board of Town Officers
<br /> or of any Committee of the Town and to appoint other Committees.
<br /> Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to install a trunk
<br /> line sewer beginning at the Metropolitan Sewer near the Arlington-
<br /> Lexington Line, thence in a general northerly direction for a
<br /> distance of approximately 1620 feet to a point in Rindge Avenue
<br /> about 300 feet southerly of Wizan Avenue, and to acquire any
<br /> necessary lands or easements by purchase or eminent domain;
<br /> and toc-a:uhthorize,_theeSelectmen to cause this to be done as a
<br /> Federal Vorks Progress Administration Project; and provide funds
<br /> therefor, including land damages, by direct appropriation,bjai1ssfr
<br /> r rc
<br /> or by the issue of bonds or notes of the Town payaole in
<br /> accordance with the law, or by borrowing under the provisions
<br /> of Chapter 58 of the Acts of 1938.
<br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to install a trunk
<br /> line sewer beginning at the Metropolitan Sewer near the Arling-
<br /> ton-Lexington Line, thence in a general northerly direction
<br /> for a distance of approximately 1620 feet to a point in Rindge
<br /> Avenue about 300 feet southerly of Ninn Avenue, and to acquire
<br /> any necessary lands or easements by purchase or eminent domain;
<br /> and provide funds t_aerefor, including land damages , by direct
<br /> appropriation, by transfer from available funds, or by the
<br /> issue of bonds cr notes of the Town payable in accordance with
<br /> the law.

<br /> Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to install sewer mains
<br /> in the following unaccepted streets, subject to the assessment
<br /> of betterments , and to acquire by purchase or by eminent domain
<br /> any necessary easements therefor:
<br /> Nt Rindge Avenue, from a point near Rawson Avenue, to Melrose
<br /> a , Avenue, a distance of approximately 950 feet;
<br /> t Melrose Avenue, from Rindge Avenue northwesterly, a distance of
<br /> approximately 200 feet ;
<br /> Rawson Avenue, between Alaemarle ave. and Rindge Avenue;
<br /> Albemarle Avenue, from Rawson Avenue southerly, a distance of
<br /> approximately 150 feet, and also from Winn Avenue, a distance
<br /> of approximately 180 feet southerly;
<br /> Winn Avenue, between Albemarle Avenue and Rindge Avenue, a
<br /> siiance of approximately 360 feet;
<br /> and provide funds for said installation by direct appropritoi�ox , tnAsfer
<br /> or by the issue of bonds or notes of the Town, payable in
<br /> accordance with the law.
<br /> Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to install a sewer main
<br /> in $ow Street, between £.awson Avenue and a po , 'c approximately
<br /> 800 feet southerly of Rawson Avenue , subject to the assessment
<br /> of betterments, and provide funds for said installation by
<br /> direct appropriation, by transfer from available funds, or by
<br /> the issue of bonds or notes of the Town payable in accordance
<br /> with the law.
