Art. 48.. To see- it the 'Town- will -authorize 'the 'S'electmen to enterinto <br /> a proposed agreement with the Department of Public Works, Division of <br /> Highways of the State and the County Commissioners of Middlesex County <br /> for the reconstruction of Lowell Street from Summer Street to Woburn <br /> Street and Maple Street from Lowell Street to Massachusetts Avenue, that <br /> portion of Lowfll Street from Summer Street to Maple and Maple Street <br /> to be laid out as a State highway and maintained as such, and provide <br /> for the raising of the necessary funds to cover the Town's share by the <br /> issuance of bonds or notes of the town provided said agreement is con- <br /> summated or take any action relative thereto. <br /> Art. 49 . To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to enter into <br /> a proposed agreement with the Department of Public Works , Division of <br /> Highways of the State and the County Commissioners of Middlesex County <br /> for the construction of a state highway from the end of Summer Street <br /> at its junction with Lowell Street across the lands of various owners <br /> in a westerly direction to Maple Street at or about the land of George <br /> Nelson, thence by Maple Street to Massachusetts Avenue as shown on a plan <br /> submitted by the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways of <br /> the State and provide for the raising of the necessary funds to cover <br /> the Town' s share by the issuance of bonds or notes of the Town provided <br /> said agreement is consummated or take any action relative thereto. <br /> Art . 50. To hear the report of the Committee appointed at the <br /> Town Meeting held December 17 , 1920 . "to investigate the advisability <br /> of any change in the form of government of the town" and to take any <br /> action thereon. In the event that it is decided to continue such <br /> committee, to see if the Town will appropriate any money to cover the <br /> expenses of such committee for printing and postage , or to take any <br /> other action with referende thereto. <br />
