Transportation Advisory Committee <br /> Minutes of Friday, October 14, 2022 <br /> <br />Members Present: Vinita Verma, Chair, Pam Lyons, Co-Chair, Sally Castleman, <br />Kunal Botla Absent: Elaine Dratch <br /> <br />Liaisons: Susan Barrett, Transportation Manager & Nishanth Veeragandham, LHS <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ms. Verma at 7:05 PM. <br /> <br />Public Comments: Former TAC member Webb Sussman had been forwarded the <br />info about the Town seeking citizen suggestions for one-time use of $500,000, <br />and he had responded. Mr. Botla acknowledged Mr. Sussman’s response and <br />suggested putting it on next TAC meeting’s agenda. <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting was to discuss Mr. Botla’s final draft of TAC’s letter to <br />the School Committee & the Select Board, so it could be sent. <br /> <br />Members edited, discussed, edited, and agreed on final wording and voted <br />unanimously to accept. Ms. Barrett had suggested that 128 Business Council’s Tri- <br />Town Transit Study Peer Review from 2020 be submitted with TAC’s letter and <br />that was also agreed on. <br /> <br />It was agreed that Mr. Botla would sign the letter on behalf of TAC and that he <br />would send it out. <br /> <br />It was noted that the next draft of the MBTA’s Bus Network Redesign will be <br />available on Nov 2. <br /> <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:01.
