Annual Warrant -2- March 2 , 1942 <br /> Article 4. To see if the Town will make the usual appro- <br /> priations for Town expenses for the ensuing year, by direct <br /> appropriation, by transfer from available funds, or by a combina- <br /> tion of the two methods, or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer unex- <br /> pended appropriation balances in any of the Accounts to the Excess <br /> and Deficiency Account, or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br /> Assessors to use money from available funds toward the reduction <br /> of the 1942 tax rate, or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money <br /> to pay any unpaid bills for prior years of the various town departments. <br /> Article 8. To see if the Town will authorize the Board of <br /> Selectmen to sell and dispose of the property taken by the Town by <br /> foreclosure of tax titles. <br /> Article 9. To .see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum <br /> of money for the Reserve Fund as provided by Chapter 40, Section <br /> 6, General Laws, or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br /> Selectmen to petition the Director of Accounts of the State for <br /> an audit for the year 1942. <br /> Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to install water mains <br /> in such accepted or unaccepted streets as the Selectmen may determine <br /> during the year 1942 in accordance with authority contained in the <br /> By-laws of the Town, subject to the assessment of betterments, and <br /> to take by eminent domain any necessary easements therefor, and to <br /> pay for the same by direct appropriation, by transfer from available <br /> funds, or by the issue of notes or bonds of the Town. <br /> Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to install sewer <br /> mains in such accepted or unaccepted streets as the Selectmen may <br /> determine during the year 1942 in accordance with St. 1897, Ch. <br /> 504 as amended, or otherwise, and to take by eminent domain any <br /> necessary easements therefor, and to pay for the same by direct <br /> appropriation, by transfer from available funds, or by the issue <br /> of notes or bonds of the Town. <br /> Article 13 . To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen <br /> to install street lights in the following unaccepted streets: <br /> Robbins Road; Rangeway; Revolutionary Road; Constitution Road. <br /> Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate funds <br /> for providing co-operation with the Federal Government in unemployment <br /> relief and other pro_jc s of irecct, qtr indirect benefit to the town <br /> or its inhabitants, ai un s o e pended by the Selectmen; or <br /> act in any other manener in relation thereto. <br /> Article 15. To see if the Town mill authorize the Selectmen <br /> to increase the pay of some or all of the employees of the Public <br /> 'Works Department and to pay them the equivalent of one and one-half <br /> times their regular hourly pay rates for overtime and contract with <br /> them for employment aggregating at least forty-four hours per week <br /> and appropriate money therefor, or act in any other manner in re- <br /> lation thereto. <br />
