To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-Law by adding <br /> thereto a new Section 37A as follows: <br /> "Section 37A. Interim Wetland Protection Districts <br /> 37A.10 Whereas, the Town of Lexington is in the process of <br /> updating its comprehensive plan for wetland protection and <br /> regulation, and desires to protect certain parts of the <br /> Town from ill-advised or inappropriate development of wet- <br /> land areas until the final adoption of such a revised com- <br /> prehensive plan, a moratorium on the issuance of building <br /> permits for construction in such areas, except in conformity <br /> with the provisions of Section 37 of the Zoning By-Law, is <br /> hereby adopted as described below. <br /> 37A.11 In the interim wetlands districts set out in sub- <br /> section 37A.12 there shall be no land fill or dumping or <br /> excavation of any kind; no drainage work other than by an <br /> authorized public agency; no damming or relocation of any <br /> watercourse, except as part of an over-all drainage basin <br /> plan; no building or the erection of any structure, or <br /> permanent storage of materials or equipment, except as pro- <br /> vided in Section 37 of- the Zoning By-Law, for a period of <br /> two years from the date of approval of this Section by the <br />
