-14- <br /> ARTICLE 50. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Permanent Building <br /> Committee, in conjunction with its requests to the contractor to utilize particular <br /> referral agencies and training programs concerned with equal employment opportunity in the <br /> construction trades, as authorized by vote adopted under Article 4 of the June 2, 1969 <br /> Special Town Meeting, to expend funds appropriated under said Article 4 for the additional <br /> purpose of reimbursing the contractor for the cost of the transportation of minority-group <br /> trainees and skilled workers as may be authorized by the Permanent Building Committee in its <br /> requests to the contractor; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted at the request of Lexington Commission on Suburban Responsibility) <br /> ARTICLE 51. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to abandon and release <br /> any claim of the Town in a right of way that may have been acquired by eminent domain by <br /> order dated December 16, 1968 and recorded in Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds, <br /> Book 11618, Page 386, and registered therein as Document No. 462003, said right of way being <br /> no longer required by the Town, and will set the minimum amount to be paid for such <br /> abandonment and release; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by Board of Selectmen) <br /> ARTICLE 52. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for <br /> the payment of a pension to the widow of the late Benjamin W. Day under Section 95A of <br /> Chapter 32 of the General Laws; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by Board of Selectmen) <br /> ARTICLE 53. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Permanent Building Committee <br /> or some other board or committee of the Town to retain professional services and prepare final <br /> plans and specifications and to obtain bids for remodeling, reconstructing or making <br /> extraordinary repairs of the so-called Red Cross building owned by the Town, located on the <br /> Hancock Street side of the Buckman Tavern grounds; appropriate money for such purposes and <br /> determine whether the money shall be provided by the current tax levy, or by transfer from <br /> available funds, or by any con3tination of these methods; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by Board of Selectmen) <br />
