To see if the Town will authorize the Planning <br /> Bzo' rdd to obtain options for land or rights therein that it desires to recon- <br /> . be acquired by the Town as locations for future streets and will auth- <br /> -' orrie the Selectmen to acquire such land or rights therein for such purposes; <br /> appropriate money for such options and such land acquisition and determine <br /> whether the same shall be provided by the current tax levy, by transfer from <br /> available funds, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other <br /> manner in relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 39. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money <br /> for the employment of consultants and additional employees by the Planning <br /> Board in the administration of the Subdivision Control Law and other func- <br /> tions of the Planning Board; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 40. To receive the report of the Veterans ' Memorial Com- <br /> mittee and to see if the Town will authorize the construction of a veterans® <br /> memorial and appropriate money therefor and determine whether the money <br /> shall be provided in the current tax levy or by transfer from available <br /> funds or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 41. To receive the report of the Town Manager Plan Com- <br /> mittee and to see if the Town will authorize the Committee to prepare legis- <br /> lation to establish a Town Manager-Selectmen form of government for the Town <br /> and raise and <br /> of Lexington and submit it to the 1955 Annual Town Meeting;/or act in any <br /> appropriate money for the expenses of said Committee; <br /> other manner in relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 42'. To receive the report of the Job Classification and <br /> Salary Plan Study Committee and to take action thereon, including, if rec- <br /> ommended by the Committee, provision for a committee to prepare and submit <br /> at a subsequent town meeting a by-law establishing a job classification plan <br /> and a salary plan as authorized by Section 108A of Chapter 41 of the General <br /> Laws and to raise and appropriate money for the expenses of such committee. <br /> ARTICLE 43. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a <br /> Town way, and accept the layout of as a town way, Bertwell Road from Simonds <br /> Road, northwesterly, to Williams Road, approximately 520 feet as laid out by <br />
