This project will be eligible for 59% state <br /> reimbursement. This request is part of a program plan prepared and approved by the <br /> Recreation Committee on December 9, 1998. <br /> ARTICLE 32 SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM[ <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money to purchase computer hardware and software <br /> for the public schools; determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, by <br /> transfer from available funds, by borrowing, or by any combination of these methods; or act in <br /> any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the School Committee) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $600,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: This article requests funding for computer hardware and equipment <br /> which will be distributed throughout the system and includes computers for teacher and <br /> student stations; shared resources such as printers, scanners, projectors, display devices and <br /> furniture; and equipment to expand the current network and Library CD-ROM servers. <br /> ARTICLE 33 SCHOOL CAPITAL PROJECT <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money to remodel, reconstruct and make <br /> extraordinary repairs to school buildings and purchase additional equipment therefor; determine <br /> whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, by transfer from available funds, by <br /> borrowing, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the School Committee) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $1,502,000 <br /> 22 <br />
