ARTICLE 24 STABILIZATION FUND <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for a Stabilization Fund in accordance with <br /> Section 5-B of Chapter 40 of the General Laws; determine whether the money shall be provided <br /> by the tax levy, by transfer from available funds, or by any combination of these methods; or act in <br /> any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $150,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: Money may be appropriated into a stabilization fund which may be invested <br /> and the interest may then become part of the fund. The use of these funds may later be <br /> appropriated, by a two-thirds vote at an Annual or Special Town Meeting, for any purpose for <br /> which the town would be authorized to borrow money under Sections 7 and 8 of Chapter 44 <br /> of the General Laws, or for any lawful purpose. <br /> CONSERVATION AND PLANNING BOARD <br /> ARTICLE 25 AMEND ARTICLE XXXII OF GENERAL BY-LAWS <br /> WETLAND PROTECTION <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Article XXXII of the General By-Laws (Wetland <br /> Protection) as follows: <br /> (a)by making changes and technical corrections to sections 1, 2, 2.1 and 6, to include adding <br /> wetland areas that are not currently protected under the By-Law; making the applicant <br /> responsible for notifying abutters of public hearings; adding categories to the areas to which <br /> proposed work may be significant; and clarifying harm to the protected interests; <br /> (b)by adding a new section 8 relating to the imposition of a fee for the reasonable costs and <br /> expenses borne by the Conservation Commission for specific expert engineering and other <br /> consultant services; <br /> (c)by adding a new section 10 relating to the expiration of orders of conditions; and <br /> (d)by renumbering the current sections 8, 9 and 10 accordingly; <br /> all as shown on a document on file in the office of the Town Clerk; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted at the request of the Conservation Commission) <br /> 21 <br />
