GREETIN�,
� THEREAS the General Court in their last Session resolved, that 'the

should� be raised on the several towns within the said county, according to the
directions of the law, for defraying the usual necessary charges of the county:
and whereas the Circuit Court of Common Please for the Middle Circuit, hav-
ing jurisdiction of all matters and things cognizable by a Court of Sessions, hold-
en at Concord, in and for the county of Middlesex, on the second Monday of
�;d����Y:�-%�.�„�� order.ed that the Clerk o�the said Court should forth-
with send out warrants for assessing the several towns' proportion thereof, as
the law directs, and for paying in the same.
�HFSE are therefore in the name of the Commoiiwealth o� Massachu-'

equal proportion thereof, as near as may be, ac ording to the rule for defrayi,ng
the state charges, being the said town's propnrtion for the county tax and rate
abovementioned : And you are to make a true and perfect list or lists of the
names of the persons, on whom you assess the aforesaid sum, which list or lists,
so perfected and signed by yourselves (or the major part of you,)you are to com-
mit to the collector,constable, or constables of our town,requiring them respec-
