Judy Crocker will get School <br />Supdt to introduce this curriculum <br />• State Senator asked for Transportation Bond Bill inclusions - <br />Blue BIke Share got in. <br />• ARPA fund usage - Bike Racks in East Lexington, got included. <br /> <br /> <br />● Richard Canale - <br />● Rte 2 A - no updates <br />● The Battle Road Scenic Byway Committee applied for a Federal <br />Highway Administration grant. Included in the proposal is <br />construction funding for a re-configuring of the Minuteman Bikeway <br />crossing at Hancock Street (on the Byway) with a safer crossing. <br />We will know by early Fall if we are successful. <br />● Mass Dot - Landuse Plan Rte128 - Lots of ideas discussed <br />(happened yesterday). Battle Green Streetscape Update – Ross Morrow updated (Lincoln St sidewalk <br />next month. Vision Zero-monday meeting soon. Finalize Aug 22). <br /> <br />Ross presented Battle Green Streetscape Powerpoint - Nov 2023 bid date. <br /> <br />Omar suggested green paint on the rotary. Ross- No sharrows at the Battle <br />Green triangle. Peggy suggested that it should have sharrows. <br />Committee agreed that LBAC should write a letter to Select Board (Betty?). <br /> <br />Ross- Hancock safer - make it a perpendicular crossing (S-curve). Hancock <br />improvements-later. <br /> <br />Would LBAC letter saying - green paint, sharrows help? Ross says put it in a <br />letter.
