Minutes for March 12, 2003 <br />Present: Marshall Derby, David Eagle, Cxerald Howell, Martha Food, Cathy Abbot <br />The minutes were approved as read. <br />Treasurers Report: LexHAB is financially solvent. <br />Edna Street: The rough wiring, heating and plumbing materials have been delivered to <br />Minuteman Vac-Tech School where they are being readied for installation, Minuteman <br />will do the chimney this time. The roof is tight to the weather. boars and windows are <br />on order. <br />Franklin School: Negotiations continue. <br />Ran ewa :Town engineering has agreed to prepare the site plan. Forms to do a local <br />initiative comprehensive permit have been received from the state. Derby will announce <br />plans to build on this site as part ofthe LexHAB annual report to Town Meeting. A <br />neighborhood meeting will be held ~. May. <br />Emerson hardens: The condo association is doing a survey concerning the need to <br />replace windows. <br />Garfield Street: The Massachusetts Housing Authority reports that Le~HAB met all <br />management practices requirements for these units. <br />There was discussion concerning the proposed. future use for ~4I Bedford Street <br />including possibly moving the DP'~V to Hartwell Avenue, usin ~Ol Bedford to build a <br />g <br />Senior Center with or without DPw being., co~located and possibly including housing on <br />the site.
