Belding, property at 202 Waltham Street <br /> P"Arlington Five Cents Savings Bank, property located at 68 Gleason Road <br /> and assessed to Grace M. Arnold. <br /> The Assessors considered the written request of Mr. Caouette, agent <br /> � for Mrs. Lulu Blake , in his letter dated Oct. 1st, 1940, and the Board <br /> voted to grant Mrs. Blake the same consideration on her 1940 Castle Estate <br /> tax bill as they did in 1939. <br /> The tax on all building valuation over 45,000 to be abated. <br /> Buildings assessed for 423,500 <br /> -15,000 <br /> 48,500 Abate on this amount <br /> 1940 tax bill being for. 41143.10 <br /> 273.70 abated on 1940 tax bill. <br /> The 1940 real estate abatement application received from The Prudential <br /> Insurance Co. of America on their property located at 31 Slocum Road was <br /> considered by the Assessors and they voted at this meeting to give the samE <br /> consideration on this abatement application as they did in 1939; granting <br /> the applicant an abatement on 42000 valuation but not reducing the present <br /> assessment 414,330. <br /> The Board agreed to look at all the other real estate parcels that <br /> applications had been filed on for abatements on their 1940 real estate <br /> taxes. <br /> The above mentioned seven (7) applicants were notified by being <br /> sent the State Approved Form #135 dated Oct. 3, 1940 informing them of <br /> the decision of the Assessors on the applications filed by the applicants <br /> for abatements on their 1940 real estate tax bills. <br /> '"The forms were signed by Frederick J, Spencer, Secretary of the Board, <br /> on Oct. 14th, 1940 and put in the mail that day: <br /> Of <br /> i / <br /> Secrera•y of the Board <br />
