Land Acquisition Subcommittee Meeting on February 22,2022

Agenda
1. Call to Order—HPB Subcommittee on Land Acquisition Proposal
The meeting was called to order by Betsey Weiss at 7:00 pm. Minutes were taken by Harriet
Cohen.
2. Next Steps in Development of a Land Acquisition Policy
The subcommittee reviewed the discussion of the proposal at the Select Board meeting to come
to a common understanding of the charge from the Select Board. At the Select Board meeting
on Feb. 15, 2022, Mr. Pato asked to add the School Committee to the list of four stakeholders
which the subcommittee did.
At the 2/15/22 Select Board meeting, Ms. Barry had asked if the Town would provide staff to the
land acquisition policy development work. Mr. Malloy had said that the Town would. Ms.
Foutter agreed to contact Mr. Malloy to identify a Town liaison to the policy work.
The subcommittee discussed additional next steps. Ms. Cohen agreed to draft a policy based on
the Concord land acquisition policy.The draft will be reviewed at the next meeting.
3. Set Next Meeting
The next meeting will be on March 22, 2022, at 7:00 pm.
4. Adjourn Meeting
Ms. Cohen moved adjournment and Ms. Weiss seconded the motion.The motion passed
unanimously.
