Land Acquisition Subcommittee Meeting on January 4,2021
Attendees: Harriet Cohen,Jeri Foutter, Betsey Weiss

The meeting was called to order by Betsey Weiss at 7:03 pm. Minutes were taken by Harriet Cohen.
Agenda
1. Call to Order—HPB Subcommittee on Land Acquisition Proposal 5 minutes
The meeting was called to order by Betsey Weiss at 7:03 pm. Minutes were taken by Harriet
Cohen.
2. Land Acquisition Proposal Discussion 45 minutes
The subcommittee and guests discussed various approaches to ensuring that affordable housing
is considered when the Town has a land acquisition opportunity.
The subcommittee agreed on the following next steps:
• Set up a meeting with Carol Kowalski for her advice on implementing such a
process.
• Ms. Cohen will draft a letter and Ms.Weiss will review it.
• Mr. Pressman will contact Mr. Pato to solicit his advice on ensuring that affordable
housing is considered in Town land acquisitions.
3. Set Next Meeting 3 minutes
The next meeting will be on January 25, 2022, at 7:00 pm.
4. Adjourn Meeting
Ms. Cohen moved adjournment and Ms. Weiss seconded the motion.The motion passed
unanimously.
