Approval of the December, 2022 Draft meeting minutes <br /> 2. School Innovation Plan Development/Discussion <br /> a. Breakout groups on the District Strategic Plan goals <br /> i. How to redefine student success <br /> ii. Highest leverage approaches to innovate for sustainable change <br /> b. will try to have higher-level themes to discuss at February meeting <br /> 3. Updates & discussion: <br /> a. COVID/Health and related Q &A <br /> i. discussion about students being able to/having to make up work when they've <br /> been out sick; teachers have been reminded to accommodate where possible <br /> ii. issue about seniors being particularly busy at this time; noted. <br /> iii. need for more substitute teachers—parents are encouraged to sign up, Dr. Hackett <br /> is working to speed the approval process. <br /> b. Schedule & Lunches update <br /> i. Due to the spiking Covid cases with Omicron, any plans to modify the <br /> lunch/block schedule are on hold for now, due to concerns about having more <br /> students having lunch at the same time (with fewer lunch periods). The idea of <br /> tents was again brought up, but they're too expensive for too little benefit. <br /> c. Budget Update <br /> i. there will be no FTE increase for LHS in this budget(following up on the 3.5 <br /> FTE which was requested). <br /> 4.
