Russell, Chairman of the Board <br /> of Health, -las admitted to this meeti n- Lo go over the Health <br /> Department - Expense Budget. ',Tr. Russell is the new Chairman <br /> over 'Dr. Ivan Pyle who was unable to take the Chairmans'i.i.p <br /> ar business warranted his time. Mr. Russell stated that at <br /> present we have committed three more tuberculosis patients <br /> since last June, and that now re have seven patients at <br /> Middlesex ganatorium at an annual cost of '^54'7.50 each. One <br /> child is at Lakeville Sanatorium. —i th the patients at the <br /> tuberculosis hosnitals at the present time, re have a commit- <br /> ment for the year of 14,745.00. They need about '150.00 to <br /> bri nr; the Board of Health supplies up to date, and. Mr. Russell <br /> said that last year alone there were seventy-three dog bites. <br /> Health Dexartment - Outlay. Mr. Russell stated <br /> that at present the Board of Health Book on Rules and Regula- <br /> tions is not in line with the State. He said that they have <br /> to et gut an entirely new book on Rules and Re;gulations. <br /> Mr. Russell., in closing, stated that with the fi Mures he has <br /> su' mitted, it will be necessary for the Board of Health to <br /> have at least 46,000.00 to do their r ark this year. <br /> Mr. Russell left the meeting at 9:20 P.M. <br /> Health Department - Expenses - Total Approved <br /> X6,000.00. <br /> This Budget ras ap roved on December 10, 1945 for <br /> 85,000.00. A motion was made, seconded and voted to 'escind <br /> the prev' pus vote and reconsider this Budget. <br />
