Mr. Rowse, Chairman, said that the Victory Garden <br /> Committee stated that practically all money expended would be re- <br /> turned and he vas holding the Committee to that. This Committee then <br /> decided that no action would be taken on this request. <br /> A nomination was made by Carl E. Bryant to elect Raymond L. <br /> '°'hite as Secretary of the Committee for the ensuing year which was <br /> seconded by Raymond A. Bond and voted by the Committee that Raymond <br /> L. T"h.ite be Secretary. <br /> Lewis L. Hoyt, the newly-elected chairman, asked for sug- <br /> gestions on the reorganization of the finance officers of the Town. <br /> The Committee is to consist of the Moderator, Chairman of the Board <br /> of Selectmen, Chairman of the Appropriation Committee and two busi- <br /> nessmen. This Committee felt that the committee appointed at the <br /> Town meeting was capable enough to handle the situations without <br /> suggestions from this Committee. <br /> Mr. Hoyt then proceeded to appoint the sub-committees for <br /> the ensuing year as follows : <br /> Fire, Pollee and Engineering <br /> together with Torn Offices sn George H. Hynes <br /> Cary Memorial Bui.ld.ing Raymond A. Bond <br /> School and Library Richard M. Maynard <br /> ITarvey F. Min;ock <br /> Highway, Mater and Sewer <br /> Departments and Public Morks Ronald D. Brown <br /> Building , Carl F. Bryant <br /> Park, Tree, Moth and Cemetery Fred C. Newhall <br /> Charities; Soldiers ' Benefits Lewis L. Hoyt <br /> and -. .A. Thatcher Jenney <br /> It was then suggested that the retiring chairman of this <br /> Committee should get the{ customary gift from the members in a <br /> ciation of the chairman' s work. ppre- <br /> Ronald D. Brown and Harvey P. VTinlock were appointed to <br /> decide a suitable gift for "r. George C.
