He presented <br /> his views relative to school needs for the next few years on build- <br /> ing and remodeling which is as follows : <br /> 1954 - Fall Town Meeting <br /> either 16 rooms at Maple St. 725,000 <br /> or 10 " " 500,000 <br /> or 8 " Franklin 325,000 <br /> 1955 - Annual Town Meeting <br /> add 14 rooms at High School <br /> Auditorium complete with shop 850,000 <br /> 1956 - Annual Town Meeting <br /> Elementary School not voted '54 <br /> 1957 - Annual Town Meeting <br /> Renovation Jr. High School 200,000 <br /> 6 rooms Maple St. if postponed <br /> 1958 - Annual Town Meeting <br /> New Junior High School 1, 300.000 <br /> 1959 - Annual Town Meeting <br /> New Elementary School <br /> 16 rooms 725,000 <br /> 4,625,000 <br /> After the building program, the budget of the school department <br /> relative to transporting Unior & Senior High School students was <br /> discussed. The State Law is that if they live two miles or more, <br /> it is necessary to transport.
