p 6- <br /> 143 - Buckman Tavern <br /> The Chairman asked if anyone had thought of approaching a <br /> Foundation to fund the renovation of Buckman Tavern. There <br /> are some charitable foundations that might want to do this. <br /> "I do not feel that we should pay for this in entirety" <br /> the Chairman said. Selectmen Kenney asked that Town Manager <br /> O'Connell check this possibility out. <br /> #43 - "Old Res" <br /> This would include : <br /> a) expansion of beach <br /> b) permanent fencing <br /> c) bath house <br /> #46 - Lincoln Street - Recreation Area <br /> a) fill <br /> b) leveling <br /> c) grass seed - loam <br /> #49 - Voting Machines <br /> Chairman Furash feels that this could be put off for another <br /> year as present machines must be used for upcoming election <br /> in March 1973 and there will not be another election until <br /> 1974. Town Manager O'Connell does not agree with this theory - <br /> as we are presently paying $300.00 plus for rental on present <br /> machines. This matter is to be discussed in more detail at <br /> a later date . <br /> #52 - Mystic Valley <br /> Increase in utility <br /> $500 - $1,000 <br /> #54 - Community Development Studies <br /> Up-dating comprehensive plans. <br /> #55 to #60 - Conservation <br /> It was felt by the Chairman that the Board of Selectmen should <br /> deal with the amount of planning of the Conservation Commission. <br /> N. Riffin pointed out that this actually was the responsibility <br /> of the Planning Board.
