�469 <br /> -4 <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7230 P.M. , Monday <br /> night, December 4, 1972, in Room 111, Town Office Building, <br /> Lexington. <br /> Present were : Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, <br /> Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T. Bernier, <br /> J. Blaisdell, Howard L. Levingston, H. Bigelow Moore and <br /> Richard M. Perry, Comptroller. <br /> Mrs. Carol Caro, of the LWV observed. <br /> RESERVE FUND BALANCE: $63,093.31 <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to submit <br /> ,--r budget asroposed except for change in line 307 - $2,000 to <br /> c`...a $2,200 -- $2,100 to 2,310, Total: 6,725 . This covers printing <br /> LV costs of two reports for an 18 month budget. <br /> Chairman Furash reported on the status of the Buckman Tavern <br /> construction. He stated that the Historical Society has paid for <br /> all costs to date - $7,000 and that construction has been completed. <br /> Request was made for Article in the Warrant for the 1973 Town Meeting. <br /> RESERVE FUND TRANSFERS : <br /> Acct. #5500 Snow Removal $8 ,000. Extraordinary and <br /> unforseen exp. <br /> Acct. #2460 Conservation $ 400. Secretarial Serv. - <br /> Com. Exp. Hatch Act Hearings <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded, it was VOTED <br /> to transfer the amounts requested. <br /> The Committee will inform Town Manager O'Connell through Comptroller, <br /> Richard Perry, to take such items as Sanding Spreaders and put theme <br /> under a "Road Machinery Article" . <br /> Meeting was recessed to attend School Budget meeting at 8 :25 P.M. 1111 <br /> and reconvened in Room 111 at 9:05 P.M. <br /> Dr. Howard Kassler, Chairman Conservation Commission joined the i <br /> meeting to discuss his request for an additional $200.00. This w "" <br /> for Mr. Alex Ztleski (Former Town Planning Dir. ) , a Profeional <br /> Consultant. This matter is still under discussion. <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. , December 11, 1972. <br /> The Capital Expenditures Committee will meet with Appropriations 14001 <br /> Committee on this night. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 9: 25 P.M. <br /> rieotfully submitted, <br /> ,.:beth M.
