46 <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting, at 7:30 P.M., on Mon- <br /> day September 11, 1972, in room 111, Town Office Building, Lexing- <br /> ton. Present were Edward E . Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, <br /> Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T . Bernier, <br /> J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Donald B. White and Richard M. <br /> Perry, Comptroller . - <br /> The Chairman announced the following schedule of meetings: <br /> September 25th to meet with the Conserv. Comm. <br /> October 2nd <br /> October 16th <br /> October 24th to meet with the School Comm. <br /> 11'J <br /> �--� The tentative agenda for the meeting with the School Committee will <br /> be the phasing out of the Hancock and Munroe schools. <br /> A Reserve Fund transfer request for between $7,000. and '410,000. to <br /> complete unfinished legal business is anticipated. <br /> The next meeting is scheduled for September 25, 1972 . <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Elizabeth M. Flynn <br /> Secretary <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting, at 7:30 P.M. , on Monday, <br /> September 25, 1972, in room 111, Town Office Building, Lexington. <br /> Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice <br /> Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T . Bernier, Levi G. <br /> Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, F. B . Moore and Richard M. Perry, <br /> Comptroller. <br /> At 7:45 P.M. , H. Kassler, Chairman of the Conservation Commission, <br /> W. Daley, G. Silverman and L. Whitman of the Capital Expenditures <br /> Committee joined the meeting. EXECUTIVE SESSION was voted. <br /> H. Kassler stated that the CC cannot continue to operate with only <br /> volunteer members . Hatch Act hearings are becoming frequent and <br /> time consuming. He stated that Professional help is needed by the <br /> CC now. Fe wishes the Appropriation Comm. to consider a Warrant <br /> Article requesting funds, in the area of $10,000. to $15,000. for <br /> such help. Chairman Furesh would like to see CC and the Brd. of <br /> Selectmen coordinated on the need for professional assistance . <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION was concluded at 9:15 P .M. <br />
