The Appropriation Committee held a meeting, at 7:30 P.M. , on Monday, <br /> June 26, 1972, in room 111, Town Office Building, Lexingtoh. Pre- <br /> sent were Edward E . Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice Chair- <br /> man, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. Harper Blaisdell, Howard L. <br /> Levingston, H. Bigelow Moore and Richard M. Perry, Comptroller . <br /> The Chairman distributed a "thank you" note from Member Arthur <br /> Bernier and Mrs . Bernier. The note is attached. <br /> The Chairman informed the Committee that the School Committee will <br /> not meet with us until possibly September 11th or 25th. The desired <br /> meeting before July 31, 1972, the closing date for School reimburse- <br /> ment requests to the State, will not be possible. <br /> A letter to the Committee from J. Moss, of the Turning Mill Road area, <br /> with respect to the installation of sewerage in that area, was read <br /> to the Committee . <br /> Comptroller Perry reported that Cherry Sheet receipts to the Town were <br /> up $180,000. over last year. Assessments are $300,000. E & D will <br /> be about the same as last year. T'ie tax rate is set at $65.00. <br /> Meetings, for the summer months, are scheduled on July 17, 1972 and <br /> August 14, 1972. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:30-P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Elizabeth ,,2.
