Minutes of meeting held on January 24, 1972 - page 4 <br /> In reviewing the Expense Budgets, it was determined that, excluding <br /> Interest on Debt and Maturing Debt, there was about a 104 increase <br /> in controllables . It was decided that the Selectmen would be re- <br /> quested to make an effort to reduce this increase to 5,r". <br /> At 10:50 P.M., Selectmen Cataldo, Kenney and Busa joined the meeting. <br /> Chairman Furash informed the Selectmen of the Committee' s desire <br /> for a review of budgets with only a 5'/, increase in. mind.
