4- 07 <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday , <br /> November 8, 1971, in Room 111, Town Office Building, Lexington. <br /> Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell , Vice <br /> Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. Harper Blaisdell, Levi G. <br /> Burnell, Howard L. Levingston and Donald B. White and Richard M. <br /> Perry, Comptroller. <br /> Mrs. Frank Feakes, of 6 Juniper Place, a representative of the League <br /> of Women Voters, sat in on the meeting as an observer. <br /> RESERVE FUND TRANSFERS: <br /> Acct. #1192 TM-In-state travel $600. <br /> Acct. #7100 Vets . Benifs .-P.S. $182 . <br /> U Upon motions duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to <br /> U transfer the amounts requested. <br /> Discussion was held with respect to the School Committee holding Execu- <br /> tive sessions when voting on school budgets . Chairman Furash said that <br /> this would be taken up at a later meeting. <br /> The Chairman advised members of the following meetings : <br /> 1. TMMA Land Use Comm. December 1 Science Lee . Hall <br /> recreation land to (Secy. will notify <br /> be discussed Approp. members) <br /> 2. PBC,Arch. Design Group November 15 Library 8:00 A.M. <br /> Library Exec. Comm. (H. Levingston will <br /> attend) <br /> Member Levingston will study the Library budgets this year and member <br /> Bernier will be asked to study the MystiiValley Mental Health request. <br /> Comptroller Perry presented projections for the 1972 tax rate. These <br /> will be discussed at another meeting . <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled for 7:30 P.M., November 15, 1971. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED, at 8:05 P.M., to <br /> adjourn to the School Committeets meeting at the High School.
