401 <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, <br /> August 16, 1971, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall, <br /> Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, J. Harper <br /> Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, H. Bigelow Moore, <br /> Donald B. White and Richard M. Perry, Comptroller. <br /> Meeting was held, at this time with members of the School Committee . <br /> Present were John Maguire, Chairman, Frederick Frick and Vernon.-. <br /> Page. Also present was Rudolph J. Fobert, Superintendent of Schools. <br /> Mr. Maguire explained the long negotiating sessions that took place <br /> between the LEA and the School Committee, which was represented by <br /> Mr. MacInnes and their hired negotiator, Mr. Alan Miller. When a <br /> stalemate was reached, a hired mediator, Mr. Arnold Zack was brought <br /> tr in, The result was a 2 year contract, which is open at the end of <br /> ` one year for further salary negotiating. <br /> .: <br />
