r“11€41 <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, <br /> July 21, 1971, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall, <br /> Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Elizabeth M. <br /> Flynn, Secretary, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Richard M. <br /> Perry, Comptroller and Donald B. White . <br /> The Chairman requested that the Minutes of the June 114, 1971 meeting, <br /> Paragraph 3, be amended as follows: <br /> ' Upon motion duly made and seconded, "it was VOTED to <br /> recommend to the Selectmen that the Motion under <br /> Article #2-acquisition of the entire Central Block- <br /> be worded to read that the minimum amount be raised <br /> LfJ on the tax levy and that the balance be bonded for <br /> not more than 5 years . The Appropriation Committee <br /> still recommends unfavorable action" . <br /> The Chairman announced that the tax rate will be $63.80. <br /> John McSweeney, Town Engineer, joined the meeting at 8:10 P.M. to <br /> discuss a Reserve Fund transfer for Account #5900. <br /> REST'TVE FUND TRANSFERS: <br /> Acct. #S900 Water Maint.-Exp. $8,800. Added expenses <br /> due to State' s <br /> paving of <br /> Marrett Road <br /> Art. #33-1970 TOB relocation 773. Extra rental <br /> expense for <br /> trailers <br /> (Upoaa ,motions dulymade'land seconded, it was VOTED to <br /> transfer the amounts requested. <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. , August 16, 1971 <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Elizabeth M.
