372 <br /> Minutes of meeting held on February 13, 1971 - page 2 <br /> Town Manager. Chairman Furash reviewed the meeting with the <br /> School .Department and explained the requests that his Committee had <br /> made for reductions in the School budget. On the Town Government <br /> Personal Services budgets, the Selectman have not acted on any re- <br /> classifications or step increases. Town Manager O' Connell said <br /> that he will not go along with the budgets as submitted, at this time . <br /> The Warrant Articles were reviewed and the basic differences between <br /> the Board and the Committee are in the areas of the budgets for the <br /> School, sewers, conservation, sidewalks, Worthen Road construction, <br /> Cary Library, the Harrington property and the photogrametric survey. <br /> The Committee retired from the meeting and reconvened in the office <br /> of the Comptroller, at 11:00 A.M., to formulate recommendations and <br /> comments to be included in the Appropriation Report. <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded, the following Articles were <br /> Voted: <br /> Art . #5 Favorable action <br /> Art . #6 - Favorable action <br /> Art. #7 Favorable action $ 1,304..
