The Appropriations Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday,
<br /> December 14, 1970, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall,
<br /> Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell,
<br /> Vice Chairman, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Arthur T. Bernier,
<br /> H. Bigelow Moore, Howard L. Levingston, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller
<br /> and Donald B. White .
<br /> Discussion was held with regard to the possibility of establishing a
<br /> wage position with School and Town government. The Chairman will
<br /> send a letter to the School Committee with respect to possible cuts
<br /> in the Personal Service budget.
<br /> The Committee read the Chairman' s report to the Annual Town Report,
<br /> and amended same.
<br /> The Committee requested that the Chairman report its views, by letter,
<br /> C.) to the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen with respect to the Harring-
<br /> U ton house .
<br /> RESERVE FUND TRANSFER:
<br /> Acct. #7200 Vets. Benef.-Aid & Exp. $1,500.
<br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to approve
<br /> the transfer of the requested amount .
<br /> RESERVE FUND BALANCE - $97,400.
<br /> The next meeting night is scheduled for Monday, December 21, 1970.
