Minutes of meeting held on February 16, 1970 - page 2 <br /> Court & Mass . Ave. Building line, the Selectmen will supply figures <br /> to the Comptroller on February 17th. <br /> Article #k - is anticipated to be $15,551,388., this will be an increase <br /> of approximately $1,370,000. over last year. The final School budget <br /> has still to be received and reviewed. <br /> The meeting with the Selectmen was adjourned at 10:25 P.M. <br /> Meeting was held at 10:30 P.M. with the Planning Board in the office of <br /> the Planning Director. Members present were Erik Lund, Chairman, Eric T . <br /> Clarke, Donald Graham and Planning Director Alexander Zaleski. Also pre- <br /> sent, as obs.ervers, were Lois Brown and Frank Sandy. The Planning Board' s <br /> request for $4,000., as an emergency fund was discussed. With respect to <br /> money Articles which are high this year, the three year average has been <br /> $115,0OQ. the Board gave hi:h .riorit to Articles 93 throuth 96 and. <br /> low priority to Article 97 and Article :0. his cowl• reduce their re- <br /> quests by $116,000. With respect to Article #98 (Meagherville site) <br /> they are requesting $10,300. for a study to supply a more exact topo- <br /> graphy, soil and systems analysis to see how the land can be best used, <br /> for a school site, housing, playground or conservation. <br /> The meeting with the Planning Board was adjourned at 11:00 P.M. <br /> Budgets acted upon: <br /> Acct. #1775 - Law Fees - P.S. $33,000. APPROVED-reaffirmed <br /> vote of 2/9/70 <br /> Acct. #1650 - Planning Brd. - Exp. 6,545. APPROVED-this re- <br /> scinds vote of 12/1/69 <br /> for $4,045. and adds <br /> $2,500. of requested <br /> additional $4,000. for <br /> contingency fund. <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled at 7:30 P .M., on Wednesday, Feb- <br /> ruary 18, 1970, in the office of the Comptroller.
