275 <br /> The Pppropriations Committee held e meeting at 7:45 P.M., on Monday, <br /> October 27, 1969, in the Comptroller' s Office, Town Office Building, <br /> Lexington. members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, Edward E— <br /> __ <br /> Furash, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Levi G . Bur- <br /> nell, Jack L. Mitchell, H. Bigelow Moore, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller <br /> and Donald B. White . <br /> Requested Transfers: <br /> 1. Acct . -441075 Selectmen' s Clerical Pool 8000. <br /> Funds will be used for part-time help for the balance of <br /> the year. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was <br /> unanimously VOTED to transfer the requested funds. <br /> 2 . Acct . #1050 Selectmen' s Expenses 1000. <br /> U <br /> Funds will be used only for travel expenses of Town <br /> Manager candidates . Expenses will be kept in a <br /> separate book end if not spent will go back into E. & D <br /> at they end of the year. Upon motion duly made and <br /> seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to transfer the <br /> requested funds . <br /> 300 - <br /> 3. Acct. #3385 Board of Health -2-02-540- <br /> (Health Engineering) <br /> Funds will be used for an outstanding bill. Consulting <br /> fees have risen from $6.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour . <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously <br /> VOTED to transfer the requested funds . <br /> With respect to the last transfer a letter will be sent to the Board <br /> of Health requesting furtherexplanation as to what services the Town <br /> receives under this Account. Chairman Gary stated that this Account <br /> should be auestionned on next years budget . <br /> Comptroller Perry advised this year a little over 130,000. has been <br /> transferred from the over-all budget of p110,000. <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled at 8:00 P.R ., on Monday, November 3, <br /> 1969 in the Comptroller' s office . <br /> The meeting wes adjourned at 8:4.0 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Elizabeth M.
