Would a new school hasten the <br /> phasing out of three schools when, at present, a new elemen- <br /> tary school is not planned until 1974 <br /> Cataldo-asked what price should be paid for the school <br /> Clarke-said that the nuns have been patient with respect to <br /> waiting for the Town to decide <br /> Cataldo-stated that in fairness to the Grey Nuns a decision <br /> should be made, but, what price shall be offered to them. <br /> There is a. need to find out. <br /> • <br /> Clarke-stated that outside counsel is needed to emphasize if it <br /> is an opportunity or not . Could it be enlarged to the size of <br /> Bridge and Bowman? Could extra land be acquired? The public <br /> is entitled to have a professional estimate to evaluate if it <br /> would be a good workable school for the Town. <br /> Gary-questionned if it is fair to the taxpayers to crank into <br /> motion another elementary school whether there is need for it <br /> or not. <br /> Nhite and Blaisdell-asked what will the $2500. study do for us . <br /> Cataldo-stated that there will be no further requests for study <br /> money whether purchase is made or not <br /> Clarke-stated that he has no burning desire to buy the building <br /> Cataldo-said that reimbursement can be had for purchase by a <br /> Special Legislative Bill <br /> Chairman Gary stated, at this time, that he had been misquoted <br /> in the Minute Man as follows "administrative action is holding up <br /> the Personnel Board" .
