2 <br /> The Appropriations Committee held a meeting on Monday, June 16, 1969, <br /> at 8:00 P .M., in the Comptroller' s Office, Town Office Building. <br /> Members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, J. Harper Blaisdell, <br /> — Edward E . Furash, H. Bigelow Moore, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller and <br /> Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary. <br /> Executive session was held at 8:05 P.M. and closed at 8:15 P.M. <br /> Discussion was held as to the requests for Transfer from the Reserve <br /> Fund by the Selectmen and the Town Clerk. The Chairman advised that <br /> he had received a breakdown of the total amounts requested and that the <br /> status of the Accounts is as follows: <br /> Requested Actual Expenses Present Balance <br /> Selectmen Acct . #1900 $3,000. $2,318.50 $163.00 <br /> Town Clerk Acct. #1950 1,500. 1,263.00 807.00 <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED to transfer <br /> the following amounts: <br /> Board of Selectmen Acct . #1900 c32,500. <br /> Town Clerk Acct. #1950 1,300. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M. to confer with the Board of Selectmen <br /> in the Selectmen ' s Room, Town Office Building. Discussion was held on <br /> the Memorandum submitted to the Selectmen re: the establishment of a <br /> Personnel Board. It was agreed that a five person Board should be <br /> appointed as soon as possible to begin formulating guide lines for their <br /> study. The Board of Selectmen will charge the Personnel Board to arrive <br /> at specific directions by the end of this year. It is envisioned that <br /> the entire project could take from two to three years to complete. <br /> The meeting with the Selectmen was closed at 9:55 P.M. <br /> The Appropriations meeting was adjourned at 10:00 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> e;4 ./,g4 )`!", <br /> Elizabeth M.
