E & D has $250,000 available for use. <br /> Law Budget — Selectman Cataldo came in to explain the Selectmen's <br /> decision to increase the salary of the present Town Counsel, Don <br /> Legro. lie stated that, when the budget was proposed, the Selectmen <br /> intended to use it for a full—time counsel; no mention was made <br /> of an interim expenditure. The Board has voted that, until Legro's <br /> successor is hired, he would be paid at the same rate as a full—time <br /> successor. Mr. Cataldo stated that he is working full—time for the <br /> town. The Board has made this salary change effective retroactive <br /> to January 1. The Board has had difficulty finding a suitable <br /> replacement. Mr. Cataldo would like a part—time Town Counsel <br /> plus a full—time assistant Town Counsel. <br /> Meetings — Meet next Monday with Selectmen. <br /> Schedule meetings with School Committee (Art. 14), <br /> Conservation Commission (Art. 16) , Citizens (Art. 19), <br /> Cemetery Commissioners (Art. 15) <br /> Reserve Wednesday May 22 for extra meeting if needed. <br /> Try to meet Capital Expenditures Committee. 27th. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> iluth F.
