Town peport Committee <br /> Mr. Zehner reported that his committee suggests dividing Town <br /> Report into a first section containing written reports and pictures <br /> from the departments, and a second section with tables and reference <br /> materials. Suggests possibility of mailing first section to each <br /> house, estimates cost may equal but not exceed that of 1966 report. <br /> Tb1A Tax Dollar Committee <br /> Chairman Eric Kula wrote asking if there were any projects Appropria— <br /> tion Committee would like to have studied. Suggest a more extensive <br /> and more accurate comparison between Lexington and some other towns <br /> which way be considered comparable. Subcommittee to work with Mr. <br /> Kula appointed: Allan Kenney and Lou Zehner. <br /> Mr. Perry will continue to work on closing out accounts. <br /> Budget expense sheets will be needed by Appropriation Committee <br /> this fall. Mr. Perry suggests changes which should result in more <br /> detailed information and more accurate estimating of future budgets. <br /> Approved. <br /> Public Works Department — Report on completion of sewer system of Lex. <br /> At present 67% of population are served (lljo are not using theta), 68% <br /> of street length served.
