RE-EVALUATION OF REVENUES <br /> Mr. Perry stated that the following areas should be looked <br /> into re the above subject: <br /> -water meter rates <br /> -school rental fees - custodians, gymn rental <br /> -ambulance fees <br /> -parking meters (at present bringing in <br /> $22,000 a year) <br /> -building permits <br /> -licenses <br /> -recreation <br /> V. MYSTIC VALLEY MENTAL HEALTH <br /> Mr. Gilman was asked by the Chairman to attend a meeting <br /> with MVMH on October 5, 1977 if possible. It was also noted <br /> that Mr. Frederick Wright, Director, Support Services was the <br /> new contact at MVMH. <br /> VI . TOWN MEETING MEMBERS ASSOCIATION <br /> Chairman White informed the Committee of two communications <br /> from the Chairman of the TMMA (on file ) : <br /> 1. The two committees are : <br /> Standing Committee on Town Government <br /> Standing Committee on the Department of Public Works <br /> 2. These committees have been established for the purpose <br /> of monitoring meetings, analyzing activities of town <br /> boards and officials and to make in-depth reports to <br /> town meeting members. Members of these committees will <br /> be attending from time to time Appropriation Committee <br /> meetings. <br /> 3. Mr. Campbell stated he felt that the TMMA does not <br /> have the authority to do this. Chairman White made clear <br /> he was of the opinion that they were getting involved in <br /> areas that they should not be. Martin Gilman suggested <br /> to the Chairman that the Appropriation Committee have a <br /> meeting with them re this situation. <br />
