PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> A report was made by Vice Chairman Mitchell regarding a <br /> meeting held at his home on Thuursday, December 13, 1973. <br /> Messrs. Burnell, Blaisdell and Perry were present: <br /> a. This must be acted upon this year. <br /> b. Get an Article in the Warrant. This was discussed <br /> with N. Cohen. Should get to Selectmen next week. <br /> �-- c. 5 man Board. <br /> d. A big sales pitch will be necessary to get through <br /> ==� Town Meeting so it was decided to <br /> immediately get the TMA to study <br /> e . N. Cohen advised Committee that Town Manager's Act would <br /> have to be amended. <br /> f. Chairman Furash pointed out that what the Town is missing <br /> is a job description plan and a system of evaluating hires. <br /> g. Should definitely be a Moderator appointed Board in order <br /> to get the right neutrality. <br /> IV. ASSOCIATION OF TOWN FINANCE COMMITTEES <br /> Richard M. Perry and J. H. Blaisdell attended the dinner on <br /> December 4, 1973 and reported the followings <br /> a. There will be a discussion of the Cherry Sheet in January <br /> and Richard Perry will attend the meeting. <br /> b. Different Finance Committees of the various towns will <br /> get together and vote to cut budgets if necessary. <br /> c. 76 cities and towns have voted police incentive pay. <br /> Upon motions duly made and Seconded, EXECUTIVE SESSION was voted <br /> at 9:05 P.M. <br /> Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 17, 1973 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:05 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Eliza eth M.
