1195 <br /> Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to amend the General By-Laws <br /> of the Town of Lexington so as to provide that the Tax Collector <br /> and Town Collector shall turn over to the Town Treasurer his collections <br /> daily. <br /> Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Town Clerk <br /> to turn over to the Town Treasurer any or all fees received by him <br /> as Town Clerk. <br /> Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to amend the General By-Laws <br /> of the Town of Lexington so as to provide that the Town Clerk shall <br /> turn over to the Town Treasurer any or all fees received by him as <br /> Town Clerk. <br /> Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of <br /> money to defray the expense incurred by the Town Counsel in the case <br /> of Ryder v. Town or Lexington, which pertains to Vine Brook Drainage. <br /> Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of <br /> money to satisfy the judgement entered against the Town in the case <br /> of Anthony Ross & Son v. Town of Lexington. <br /> Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to transfer unexpended <br /> balances in any of the accounts to the Excess and Deficiency Account <br /> or to any of the other Town Surplus Accounts. <br /> Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town way <br /> or accept the layout ofas a town way, Tower Road, from Massachusetts <br /> Avenue a distance of approximately 455 feet southerly, as laid out <br /> by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a certain <br /> plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated February 10, 1936, <br /> and to take by eminent domain the necessary easements therefor, and <br /> appropriate money for the construction of said street, or act in any <br /> manner relating thereto. <br /> Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town way <br /> or accept the layout of as a town way, Richard Road, from Tower Road <br /> to near Plymouth Road, a distance of approximately 275 feet, as laid <br /> out by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a <br /> certain plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated February <br /> 10, 1936, and to take by eminent domain the necessary easements <br /> therefor, and appropriate money for the construction of said street, <br /> or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town way <br /> or accept the layout of as a town way, Plymouth Road, from Richard. Road <br /> to Robbins Road, a distance of approximately 585 feet, as laid <br /> out by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon <br /> a certain plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated <br /> February 10, 1936, and to take by eminent domain the necessary <br /> easements therefor, and anvropriate money for the construction <br /> of said street, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Article 39. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town <br /> way or accept the layout of as a town way, Hibbert Street, from <br /> Massachusetts Avenue southwesterly, a distance of approximately <br /> 230 feet, as laid out by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, <br /> and shown upon a plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, <br /> dated. February 15, 1936, and to take by eminent domain the necessary <br /> easements therefor, and appropriate money for the construction <br /> of said street, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br /> Article 40: To see if the Town will vote to purchase or take by <br /> eminent domain for highway purposes a parcel of land approximately <br /> 23,286 square feet in area, now owned by the Boston & Maine rail- <br /> road, and used as an entrance to and exit from the Lexington <br /> Railroad station, and provide funds therefor by direct appropriation. <br /> Article 41. To see if the Town will vote to take for highway <br /> purposes the following described parcel of land, being the northerly <br /> side of Depot Park, approximately 9,000 square feet in area, and <br /> appropriate the sum of 82,000. for excavating and resurfacing the <br /> same to be used for a public parking space . <br />
