160 <br /> C..71 <br /> TORN 1;1_4.R RAIT <br /> vA-s.1 <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br /> Middlesex, ss. <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in <br /> said County, Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts , you <br /> are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of <br /> Lexington, qualified to vote in elections and in town <br /> affairs , to meet in the Cary Memorial Building, in said <br /> Lexington, on Monday, the twenty-ninth day of APril, 1935 <br /> at 8:00 P.M. , then and there to act on the following articles : <br /> Article 1. To see what action the Town will take to investigate <br /> any or all of the acts of the present or former <br /> Board of Selectmen, also the acts of their agents <br /> and appointees, or any committee of the town, and <br /> to appoint a Committee of three by vote of the <br /> meeting, to make said investigation, or act in <br /> any manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 2. To see what action the Town will take upon the recent <br /> failure of the Board of Selectmen to reappoint the <br /> former Superintendent of Public -;JOrks, and the <br /> appointment of his successor. <br /> Article 3. To see what action the Town will take upon the recent <br /> failure of the Board of Selectmen to reappoint the <br /> Clerk of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Article To see what action the Town will take on the <br /> reinstatement of the former Superintendent of Public <br /> Forks. <br /> Article 5. To see what action the Town will take on the <br /> reinstatement of the former Clerk of the Board of <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Article 8. To see what action the Town will take to cause the <br /> removal of the present Superintendent of Public Forks , <br /> and the appointment of his predecessor. <br /> Article 7. To see what action the Town will take in rescinding <br /> the vote of the Town passed at the Annual Town fleeting, <br /> March 18, 1935 under Article 7, appropriating money <br /> for the department of the Superintendent of Public <br /> Forks. <br /> Article 8. To see what action the Town will take to approprate <br /> money for the Department of Superintendent of Public <br /> And you are directed to serve this Warrant seven <br /> days at least before the time of said meeting as provided <br /> in the By-Laws of the Town. <br /> Hereof, fail not , and make due return on this Farrant , <br /> with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the <br /> time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands, at Le:dngton, this sixteenth day <br /> of April, A.D. , 1935 CHARLES E.
