a <br /> Article 31. To see if the Town will amend its Building B --laws <br /> by adding thereto a new article relating to apartment houses, sub- <br /> stantially in accordance with the copy on file in the office of the <br /> Town Clerk and open to public inspection, printed copies of which <br /> will be mailed to the town meeting members, or act in any other manner <br /> in relation thereto. <br /> Article 32. To see if the Town will acceot a special act of the <br /> legislature of 1943 enacted pursuant to vote of the annual Town <br /> Meeting of March, 1942, or an amendment to the General Laws, author- <br /> izing the Town to Iremove snow from private ways open to public travel, <br /> or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 33. To see if the Town will accept a special act of the <br /> Legislature, Chapter 6 of the Acts of 1943, enacted pursuant to vote <br /> of the Annual Town Meeting of March, 1942 authorizing the Selectmen <br /> to appoint a Board of Public Welfare to exercise the legal functions <br /> of the Board of Public Welfare now exercised by the Board of Select- <br /> men and Public Works, under Statute 1922, Ch. 1, or act in any other <br /> manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 34. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to <br /> convey the land in East Lexington known as the Old Adams School Lot, <br /> more particularly described in Certificate of Registration of Title, <br /> No. 42373, recorded in Book 282, page 41, in the Office of the Assist- <br /> ant Recorder for Middlesex County, to Lexington Post No. 3007 of the <br /> Vererans of Foreign Wars for the sole purpose of building a Veter- <br /> ans Memorial Building as a home for Veterans of Foreigh Wars, or act <br /> in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to raise and app- <br /> ropriate, or transfer from available funds in the treasury, a sum of <br /> money for the purchase of war bonds or other bonds that are legal <br /> investments for savings banks, in order to establish a post-war <br /> rehabilitation fund, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3, <br /> Acts of 1943, or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least <br /> before the time of said meeting as provided in the By-law of the Town. <br /> Hereof fail not, and make due return on this Tarrant, with your <br /> doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said <br /> meeting. <br /> Given under our hands at Lexington, this fifteenth day of <br /> February, A.
