77 <br /> Special Meeting of Town Meeting Members <br /> of Precinct 3 <br /> Special meeting held March 26, 1934 by Town Meeting Members <br /> of Precinct three, Estabrook Hall. <br /> Meeting called to order by Town Clerk, James J. Carroll at <br /> 7 :43 P .M. with thirty-one members present. <br /> %he Town Clerk explained the Purpose of the Meeting, because <br /> of the appointment of Randall B. Houghton as Chairman of the School <br /> Committee it made it necessary to fill his vacancy as Town Meeting <br /> Member, term expiring 1936 . <br /> It was unanimous that nominations for Chairman and Clerk for <br /> the meeting be made from the floor. Everett S. Emery was nominated <br /> and seconded as Chairman for the meeting. Voted unanimous . <br /> Robert C. Merriam was nominated and seconded as Clerk. Voted unanimous . <br /> Nominations to fill the vacancy were made from the floor as <br /> follows : <br /> George C. McKay <br /> Walter E. Sands <br /> William R. Rosenberger <br /> The three above nominations were seconded. <br /> The following tellers who also served as counters were appointed: <br /> Alfred A. Adler <br /> Richard E. Rowse i <br /> Leland H. Emery <br /> The above tellers passed out ballots making known the following <br /> count as ballots cast: <br /> George C. McKay 14 <br /> Walter E. Sands 10 <br /> William R. Rosenberger 7 <br /> 31 <br /> George C.
