FORMAL HEARING Chair Paul O'Shaughnessy opened the formal hearing for 6 Hancock Avenue,exterior changes in the Hancock Clark Historic District Documents Full plan set of proposed alteration: dated Nov 12, 2021 Photographs of entire face of each building elevation visible fi^om the public way: dated Nov 12, 2021 Site Plan: dated Nov 12, 2021 List of Material: dated Nov 12, 2021 Work Scope Narrative: dated Nov 12, 2021 Owner Authorization Letter: dated October 24, 2021 Photos: dated November 12, 2021 The contractor from Tesla Energy Operations explained the proposed changes of solar panels on the back side of the house. The Board felt these proposed plans were appropriate. This project will be minimal visibility from the public way and particularly meets HDC guidelines. No Public Comments. Motion was granted and seconded to issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior changes to 6 Hancock Avenue.Motion carried, all in favor. 113 Chair Paul O'Shaughnessy opened the formal hearing for 0 Massachusetts Avenue, exterior changes in the Battle Green Historic District Documents Full plan set of proposed alteration: dated November 22nd, 2021 Photographs of entire face of each building elevation visible fi^om the public way: dated Nov 12, 2021 List of Material: dated November 29, 2021 Work Scope Narrative: dated November 29, 2021 Catalogue cut sheets: dated November 29, 2021 Bus shelter specifications from manufacturer: dated December 28, 2021 Revised Full plan set of proposed alteration: dated January 3rd, 2022 The applicant Pamela Lyons explained the proposed changes of bus shelter installation at the MBTA outbound of Depot Square. The Board stated its placement and proposed view on surroundings should be specified, design and real CAD perspective will be required. Mark Connor was assigned as liaison with this application to see if bus shelter is appropriate. Fred Johnson as public commented that benches will be replaced by the seating in the bus shelter, so seating will be kept. This hearing will be continued to next HDC meeting on February, 2022. CONTINUED HEARINGS Chair Paul O'Shaughnessy opened the formal hearing for 1776 Massachusetts Ave, exterior changes in the Battle Green Historic District Documents None The applicant explained the proposed changes of signages and awnings of Citizens Bank. The Board stated the proposed changes like measurement should be accurate. Edward Adelman was offered voluntarily to serve as liaison with this application to see if signages and awnings are appropriate. This application was continued per applicant's request to next meeting. No public Comments. Anne Eccles opened the formal hearing for 13 Depot Square, exterior changes in the Battle Green Historic District Documents None Chair Paul O'Shaughnessy recused himself for this application because he is the board member of Lexington Historical Society. 2/3 The applicant explained the revised drawings of lighting strip on the front of the Lexington Historical Society Building. This application was continued per applicant's request to next meeting. The Board agrees to continue this hearing when Mark Connor has drawings and makes decisions on work. No public comments. INFORMAL HEARINGS Chair Paul O'Shaughnessy opened the informal hearing for Paint Murals on the utility boxes in Lexington, exterior changes in the Historic Districts The applicants explained the proposed changes of paint murals on the utility boxes within Lexington Historic Districts. Some Board members felt these proposed plans appropriate. The Board agreed this application goes through a formal HDC hearing with a proposal including themes for these paint murals, artists, color palette,how it maintains and basic style. Dan Hisel was assigned as liaison with this application to see if it is appropriate. No Public Comments. ACTION ITEMS Consideration and vote on Meeting Minutes on December 2,2021: Motion carried, all in favor. 313
