Carissa read Governor Baker's Executive Order from March 12,2020,which allows public meetings to be conducted remotely
due to the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Adjourn: 7:26pm
Approval of minutes for 05/20/21 meeting:
• Motion to approve minutes seconded and approved.
Vote on Slate of Candidates for the 2021-2022 LexSEPTA and LexSEPAC Board:
• Slate is attached below.
• Motion to accept Slate seconded and approved.
• Thank you to all our 2020-2021 Board members,who stepped up to serve in a particularly difficult year.
Year-End Updates:
• Staff Appreciation:
o Sending thank you letters out to all Special Education staff thanking them for all the work they did this year.
Maria did all the heavy lifting for this--thank you Maria!
o Individual submissions for the initially planned Staff Awards will be included for applicable staff members.
• LexSEPTA Members Social Event:June 16,2021,7:00-9:00 pm at Revolution Hall
• The annual Newsletter will be coming out by the end of the month.
