The board agreed the new plans for the fence are appropriate. No Public Comments Motion was granted and seconded to issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior changes to 11106 Massachusetts Avenue. Motion carried, all in favor DISCUSSION ITEMS Solar Panel Coverage- Stop & Shop and Walgreens Parking lot: There was a quick discussion about the potential solar panel coverage in the Stop& Shop and Walgreen parking lot. There are no set plans and the purpose of this discussion is just to inform the Historic District Commission that there will be plans in the future. Mount Independence Historic District Update: Chair, Anne Eccles,went over the preliminary report. It was reiterated that the Select Board approved the Historic District Commission to act as a study committee, the HDC will meet with the Mass Historical Commission and that the Preliminary Study Report was written and submitted to the State and the Lexington Planning Board. The HDC will hold public information meetings. A public hearing will be held after the 60 day wait period(which is happening right now). A warrant article will then go to Town Meeting. There was a brief question and answer segment.
